Celebrated each March, the National Association of Social Workers provides an opportunity for social workers across the country to turn the spotlight on the profession and highlight the important contributions they make to society. Each day, nearly 700,000 social workers nationwide work to elevate and empower others, giving them the ability to overcome life’s hurdles, cope with personal roadblocks and get the services they need.

This year, the official theme for Social Work Month is “Social Workers: Generations Strong” which embodies the heroic work of social workers who for more than a century have worked to make our society a better place to live.
